The pivotal texts inspiring the project of rediscovering psychoanalysis are, of course, Sigmund Freud’s 1900 Interpretation of Dreams (avoid the English translation by Abraham Brill) and his 1905 Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality. These are essential.
